About the Course: All ages All abilities All materials provided All together All welcome Figure Drawing Join us at fountain arts for an exhilarating Figure Drawing workshop with the inspirational artist and educator Letitia Thompson and her (costumed) model international burlesque bombshell Elsie Diamond! Whether you’re a seasoned artist, or have no experience but want to give it a go, this workshop is not to be missed! All materials are provided, just bring yourself, or maybe a friend or party for a fun filled creative experience!!! Saturday 27 April 11 - 2 pm (30 minute lunch break) About the Tutor: Letitia Thompson (a.k.a Mrs Bertimus) is a professional artist and educator with 30 years experience. "Figure drawing is my favourite thing in the whole wide world." There is nothing that Letitia enjoys more than having a group of people together: creating, chatting and exploring art techniques, processes and approaches. Letitia worked in art education for thirty years, having taught in both a secondary school and sixth-form college, at GCSE, A-Level and Foundation Diploma In Art, Design And Media. Letitia has also taught artist-led workshops at various galleries and creative studio venues. Letitia now works as a full-time artist, her practice includes mixed media painting, drawing, digital art and collage. She enjoys working intuitively and often weaves a sense of narrative into her imagery. About the Venue: We are in Scunthorpe town centre (opposite the Vue cinema and next to the bus station). fountain arts Jubilee Way Scunthorpe DN15 6RB Accessible fountain arts is an accessible space, with an accessible WC. Parking Our nearest car park is The Parishes Multi-Storey Car Park. The first two hours is free and there is no charge after 2pm or on Saturdays. Please consider carpooling with friends, family and colleagues if driving. Train fountain arts is an 11 minute walk from Scunthorpe Train Station. Bus We are next to Scunthorpe bus station.
