LOTTIE THOMPSON

Lottie is a Fine Artist, Poet and regular haunt of the local Scunthorpe charity shops.

Lottie is currently a student at John Leggott, studying a Foundation Arts and Media course through which she is exploring a range of multidisciplinary practices, in addition to developing her specialism in figurative portraiture. She has had her work exhibited in the 2021 Visual Arts Gallery Open Exhibition, and been awarded a Trinity Talent Award in Creativity.

She is obsessed with narrative and the subversion of found objects into sentimental, often autobiographical, personas. When not sketching passers-by or elbow-deep in oil paint, she frequents the Cafe Indie Open Mic.
