About the Course: All adults All abilities All materials provided All together All welcome Illustration The illustration course is designed to be fun and relevant to the real world of work. Over six Wednesdays you’ll learn how to create illustrations using your imagination in a supportive artist-led environment. No experience is required. Come with friends, family, colleagues or to make new ones. As the nights draw in, so can you! You will learn: How a professional illustrator approaches a Client Brief How to communicate with a client in order to deliver successful outcomes How to quickly generate ideas focused on your brief How to push and extend ideas Some tricks to speed up and improve the accuracy of your drawing How to research and collect references to improve your drawing Theory to aid success Formal elements Who is Gestalt? Why should we care? Typography – it’s a drawing too! Parking Our nearest car park is The Parishes Multi-Storey Car Park. The first two hours is free and there is no charge after 6pm. Please consider carpooling with friends, family and colleagues if driving. Train fountain arts is an 11 minute walk from Scunthorpe Train Station. Bus We are next to Scunthorpe bus station.
