At fountain arts we are buzzing to announce our new professional development opportunity for 4 selected artists!
We are offering:
-
Fully funded (FREE) studio space for 6 months for each artist (November – May 2026)

Professional mentoring – 1:1 tailored support
-
Group development sessions – workshops, discussions, and skill-sharing with experienced artists and arts professionals
-
Introductions to arts organisations, producers, curators and galleries in the region with funded visits to three towns and cities
-
Collaboration with fellow Studio School artists

A group exhibition at fountain arts (April - May 2026)
This is a unique six month intensive opportunity to focus on your practice in a supportive and inspiring environment, to gain confidence in your creative career, and connect with a community of peers and professionals to support your development.
Who is it for?

Artists at an early stage of their career
-
Artists returning to practice after a break
-
Artists who can commit to at least 2 days a week to develop their creative work in a professional context
We welcome applications from creatives throughout the UK. With an expectation that artists selected will commit to being based in Scunthorpe and North Lincolnshire at least 2 days a week.
Wednesdays will be our support day

Selected artists will be chosen by our community panel of residents and will be notified of their decision by 27 November 2025.
